Teams have navigated their regular season schedules by now and are either prepping for postseason bowl games, preferably ones in the College Football Playoff, but landing a spot in a regular bowl game is beneficial due to the extra practice time. It’s a parting gift, but one that could end with mayonnaise being dumped on a coach’s head or a “live mascot” being put in a toaster for the winning team to eat in front of everyone.
