Police said when officers got on the scene, they found one woman suffering from a stab wound to the stomach, and another woman suffering from a stab wound to the hand.

Both women were transported to the hospital by officers and listed in stable condition, police said.

The owner of the day care said that the two women who were injured both worked there.

NBC10 was on the scene as parents could be seen coming out of the day care. A woman who was picking up a child claimed that there was blood on her daughter’s clothing.

“It was on her shoes and coat, that’s it, that’s all I know,” the woman shared.

Other parents shared with NBC10 that they are in disbelief that this incident happened at a place where their children should be safe.

An investigation revealed that a man had stabbed both of the women, police revealed. At this time, police have not yet shared whether any arrests have been made.
