Signature Art Week fairs become the big picture

Signature art fairs are making a grand return for Art Basel and Miami Art Week.

The Tribeca Festival is celebrating its fourth edition with two nights of live performances at the Miami Beach Bandshell at 7275 Collins Ave. Presented by Google Gemini, it brings together the worlds of art, music, and storytelling through a genre-spanning program of performances and conversations.

This year’s lineup will shine a spotlight on emerging artists redefining contemporary culture. On Friday, Dec. 5, the Bogotá-based and Latin Grammy-nominated ensemble Monsieur Periné will take the stage with a fusion of Latin swing and pop. On Saturday, Dec. 6, the instrumental duo Hermanos Gutiérrez will bring their cinematic sound. Details: tribecafilm.com/miami

Tribeca and ESPN will also co-host an invitation-only sneak preview of two new short films celebrating stories at the intersection of sports and the Latino community. The event centers on a discussion with the directors, moderated by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Rudy Valdez.

The REVOLT Art Fair is getting ready to celebrate Black and Brown creativity at Ice Palace Studios at 71 NW 14th St. Taking place Dec. 4-6, the fair will showcase the work of 50-plus Black artists and follow the curatorial theme “Dual Currency: Define by Design,” showcasing how Black creativity sets the terms, defines the market, and leads the cultural economy.

Starting Dec. 5, Art With Me has unveiled its two-night lineup at the RC Cola Plant + Green Space at Mana Wynwood at 318 NW 23rd St. The festival has partnered with Zamna and Disco Presents to deliver two days of music, art and immersive culture during Art Basel Miami Beach and Miami Art Week.

Now in its fourth year, Art With Me Miami will transform Mana Wynwood into a walkable, multisensory playground built around six core pillars: Art, Dance, Breathe, Play, Care and Eat. The setting blends industrial architecture and lush green zones, hosting large-scale installations, wellness programming, culinary experiences, and family-friendly activities alongside its curated music stages. Lucid Design District at 10 NE 41 St. will launch “CHROMA 2025: Vital Impulses in Contemporary Art” with an immersive, color-driven opening reception on Dec. 3. Guests an evening featuring live painting by Kevin M. Fletcher and a percussion performance by Dholi Ram, whose rhythms will transform Lucid’s main gallery into a multisensory experience.

Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami, two of the longest-running contemporary and fine art fairs, have announced a five-day schedule of interactive programming Miami Art Week.

Hosted at Mana Wynwood Convention Center, the two fairs are offering experience for both exhibitors and art enthusiasts during this year’s Miami Art Week. The fairs will cover more than 150,000 square feet of exhibition space, with an estimated 30,000 attendees flocking to see the artwork of more than 1,000 artists showcased by over 280 exhibitors. Running from Dec. 3-6, Mana Fashion Services is also returning with Mana Fashion Art Basel Edition Pop-Up at the Mana Wynwood. This year’s expanded program includes an exclusive VIP opening night, followed by a three-day public pop-up experience. The event brings together Miami’s fashion community, global designers, contemporary artists, visionaries, and cultural tastemakers for an immersive celebration of creativity and style during Miami Art Week. ATRA presents “Intelligence of Evolution,” an immersive living-system design that embodies the studio’s vision of harmonizing nature, technology, art, and society at Design Miami. TABO, a real-world site on Mexico’s western coast, serves as both inspiration and canvas, exploring how design can intervene in natural environments while respecting their inherent intelligence.

Starting Dec. 3, BitBasel present “Fingerprints of Humanity,” merging art, technology and culture through exhibitions, panels, and evening events at the Sagamore South Beach. Okayplayer hosted by Shaggy will also be presented by BitBase with a global fusion of music, art, and innovation. On Dec. 4, the Sea & Space Summit will explore the intersections of ocean conservation, space exploration, and human creativity. The Art & Fintech Forum will be held on Dec. 5. The forum bridges blockchain innovation with the evolving economics of the art world. BitBasel closes the week with a moving tribute to Jean-Michel Basquiat’s cultural impact and lasting legacy.

HIVE returns to The Wynwood Marketplace as one of Miami Art Week’s open-to-the-public experiences, a collision of art, music, mixology, and culinary creativity staged in a village-style setting from Dec. 4-7. HIVE transforms Wynwood Marketplace into an immersive hub where guests can wander through a curated vendor village featuring about 30 local makers.
