The Philadelphia Marathon returned for its 32nd year this weekend, bringing 37,000 runners to the four keystone events that comprised one of the largest gatherings in the event’s history. ‘They had no say’: Why Philly youth voters are showing up in historic numbers
Across Pennsylvania, more 18- to 24-year-olds showed up to vote in the November 2024 election than in previous years — a whopping 54% of 18- to 24-year-old registered voters showed up to the polls that year, according to Kaiser Family Foundation data. Thursday, Nov. 27: 2025 Thanksgiving Day Parade
The longest-running Thanksgiving Day parade in the country returns for its 106th year, all leading up to the arrival of Santa Claus. The parade starts at North 20th Street and JFK Boulevard, snakes around City Hall, and flows down the Ben Franklin Parkway to the Art Museum. (8:30 a.m. to noon)
Weds, Nov. 26 through Dec. 14: The Greatest Play in the History of the World
It’s 4:40 a.m., and time has quite literally stopped — at least for everyone except four neighbors who reach each other across space, time, and loneliness to find that their universe is bigger than they knew.
