Is Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers playing vs. the Bears?

The Pittsburgh Steelers have revealed the status of quarterback Aaron Rodgers for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport, along with CBS Sports’ Evan Washburn, Rodgers will not play Sunday at Soldier Field, and Mason Rudolph will get the start at quarterback.

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin discussed Rodgers’ status Washburn prior to the game at Soldier Field Sunday morning and revealed he wouldn’t be playing.

Rodgers suffered a broken bone in his left wrist last week in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals, and was questionable to play against the Bears on Sunday after being limited in practice this week.

He has had a great career against Chicago, posting a 24-5 record with 64 touchdown passes, but he won’t get a chance to add to those totals Sunday at Soldier Field.

Kickoff for the game is set for noon CT, and the game will air on CBS.
