DENVER (KDVR) — Sunshine will aid in a warming trend for the rest of the workweek ahead of weekend showers and a cooldown moving into Denver’s weather forecast this weekend.
Weather tonight: Clouds clearing
Wednesday night, clouds will clear. Temperatures will fall to the lower 50s, which is 10 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Sunny, warmer
Thursday, sunshine will help to keep a warming trend going. High temperatures will reach the low to mid-80s, which is about 10 degrees above average.

Looking ahead: Chance for showers, much cooler weekend
The warming trend continues on Friday. High temperatures will climb to the mid-80s, which is just shy of the daily record of 88 degrees set in 2005.

Saturday will start off mainly sunny. Then, as high temperatures climb into the 70s, the chance for showers will build in through the afternoon and early evening.

A much more fall-like chill settles in on Sunday. Temperatures will only reach the mid-60s, which is about five degrees cooler than normal, alongside a few stray showers. The chance for a stray shower will continue into the start of the workweek with more seasonal temperatures in the mid 60s to lower 70s.
