After coming to the U.S. from Morocco as a student, Crazy Pita President and Founder, Mehdi Zarhloul, has built Crazy Pita to be an important culinary force in Las Vegas and is offering families a special way to celebrate America. Four decades ago when Zarloul first came to the United States, he knew this was going to be his permanent home because of the opportunities. After a successful career with Four Seasons Resorts, Zarloul founded Crazy Pita in 2006 to bring Las Vegas some of the dishes from his home country. Over the next 20 years, Crazy Pita has become one of Las Vegas’ favorite places for Mediterranean cuisine. As one of the first fast casual Mediterranean restaurants, Crazy Pita filled a need for fresh, flavorful dishes that the Las Vegas community was craving. For the last 20 years, Zarloul and Crazy Pita have served the Las Vegas community and now he is taking the flavors from home across the United States. In 2025, the first Crazy Pita outside of Nevada opened in Port St. Lucie, FL and later this year the brand will be coast-to-coast with an additional location on the Coronado Navel Base in San Diego, CA.
