Bucks County SPCA seeking information after cat shot, killed in trailer park

A local SPCA is offering a reward for information after a neighborhood stray was found shot to death last week.

A tuxedo cat named Mikey was found dead in the B section of Pennwood Crossing Mobile Home Park in Bucks County on Sept. 11 around 7:30 p.m., according to the Bucks County SPCA.

When Mikey was taken to a veterinarian, he was sent for an X-ray where doctors found a projectile, officials said.

The SPCA said that Mikey was a member of a nearby cat colony and was known by neighbors to be friendly.

If you have any information about Mikey’s death, please call the Bucks County SPCA at 844-SPCA-TIP (844-772-2847).

You can also send any email with any information to reportcruelty@buckscountyspca.org or by clicking here.
