President Donald Trump’s disapproval rating has hit a record high, six months before the midterm elections as Americans reject his war with Iran and worry about rising costs, including gas prices, a new polls shows. The Washington Post-ABC News-Ipsos poll, conducted online between April 24-28, found Trump’s general approval rating sits around 37%, slightly less than his 39% level in February. But his disapproval rating has reached 62%, the worst of both of his terms in office. The new poll shows Democrats hold a five-point advantage on which party people favor in House elections — up from their two-point advantage in February and October.
