Luna’s Chicken N Seafood 8793 Blue Ridge Boulevard Suite B (Kansas City, MO) is looking for enthusiastic Back of House Team Members who take pride in preparing crave-worthy food quickly, accurately, and with care. You’ll play a key role in making sure every order is right, and every guest leaves happy.

We’re looking for individuals who can work hard while staying focused on quality and speed. If you’re detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, and enjoy working as part of a team you might be the perfect fit for our crew. No prior experience required we’ll teach you everything you need to know!

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation to and from work is required
• Comfortable handling kitchen equipment, including pots, pans, and shelving at various heights
• Ability to stand and work for 6 to 8 hours continuously
• Basic reading, writing, math, and effective verbal communication skills necessary
• Able to work in a fast-paced, hot, and noisy environment
• Capable of performing well under pressure
• Quick and efficient in adapting to order changes or updates

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 16 years or older
• Food Service license/certification: Food Handler’s License
• Able to work in an environment with high temperatures
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to comfortably lift 40 lbs

Preferred qualifications:

• At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
• Food Service license/certification: ServSafe Manager Certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Restaurant back of house skills: dishwashing
• Restaurant back of house skills: fry station
• Restaurant back of house skills: general food prep
• Restaurant back of house skills: expediting
• Restaurant back of house skills: safe food handling
• Available to work: early morning
• Available to work: late at night
• Available to work: weekends
• Available to work: weekdays
