Under the general direction of the Laboratory Director, the Laboratory Assistant performs a variety of laboratory functions, which may include the following: Maintains laboratory supplies by ordering, receiving and stocking them. Answers the telephone and relays messages.

Required Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Documentation of a higher education
- Coursework/Training Medical Assistant course.
- BACE (Biotechnician Assistant Credentialing Exam) certificate upon hire.
- Computer experience.
- Laboratory or related science experience.
